Park Nam-Soo

Abstract
This study was designed to assess the organizational effectiveness of office workers. In the research, the structural equation analysis was conducted to identify the effects of mindfulness and its related factors with 245 office workers.
The scales for this research are as follows: scales of stress reaction, mindfulness, self-esteem, creativity, burnout, and organizational commitment. The results suggest that there is a correlation between relationship and process of such factors as mindfulness, self-esteem, stress, creativity, burnout, and organizational commitment. And mindfulness positively affects self-esteem, decreases burnout and stress, promotes creativity, promotes organizational commitment. And mindfulness has a positive effect on creativity, burnout, and organizational commitment through mediating variables of stress and self-esteem. However, the data does not demonstrate that mindfulness affects creativity and burnout directly without the mediators. Thus, it is predicted that mindfulness may strengthen such positive emotion as self-esteem, may enhance health and happiness by decreasing stress, and contribute positively to the organization.
In conclusion, this research supports that through structural equation model, mindfulness can increases self-esteem, decreases stress, and affects the organizational commitment positively.
